Hi, I am Hamish
Hamish first became interested in demobilisation, disarmament and reintegration practices while undertaking a Master of Arts (International Relations). He has since worked in peacebuilding in Sri Lanka with Centre for Peacebuilding and Reconciliation (CPBR). Hamish also campaigned for the abolition of nuclear weapons with Parliamentarians for Nuclear Non-proliferation and Disarmament (PNND) before working in Burundi with CEDAC. Hamish has been fascinated with Burundi and CEDAC ever since.
He is now undertaking a PhD exploring post-conflict democracy development in pluralist societies such as Burundi and Rwanda. Hamish is from Melbourne, Australia.
