Beekeeping in Burundi
Income Generation with Honey
We are working in conjunction with AMICUS Global, a socio-cultural organisation based in Adelaide, South Australia, building income generation through beekeeping. AMICUS is dedicated to the advancement of inter-culturalism, support of Commonwealth of Nations and various global humanitarian projects.
Here at CEDAC we have experienced success with income generation through beekeeping projects in Muramvya. These projects help to build sustainable income generation for the household and the wider community by creating a product, honey, which can be sold. Honey binds the community by bringing them together while providing a healthy means of eradicating poverty.
We need your donation of just AU$25 will provide one beehive which can make a difference to a vulnerable family. Your donations are tax deductible so join and support us because together we can make a difference.
