CEDAC Australia
All Together for Victim Assistance
Amahoro!
Welcome to CEDAC or as we say “amahoro” which means peace in Kirundi.
Click here to see how we are working to raise awareness of small arms and light weapons in Burundi.
We have now been recognised to work in Uganda. Thanks to our partnership with AMICUS Global and Victoria League for Commonwealth Friendship we are announcing a new project!
Although CEDAC Australia is new, we have an extensive history as CEDAC was first established in Burundi in 2005. CEDAC has a long and proven history of helping survivors of conflict within Burundi, now we are extending that work. We have projects in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and now Uganda while continuing projects with diaspora communities here in Australia.
CEDAC Australia is excited to announce we are now registered in Burundi. Check out news from Eric’s recent trip here!
We have launcher a partnership with AMICUS Global and a shared project to build income generation with honey production. For AU$25, you can provide a vulnerable Burundian family with a beehive, providing a much needed form of income.
CEDAC Australia is now fully registered and your donations are tax deductible.
If you would like to help out. Please fill in the volunteer form on our contacts page.

Where We Work
We are currently active in Burundi, Australia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. However, we want to expand our work into the wider central African region and would love it if you could help. Please donate or contact us to find other ways to get involved.
With your help, we will continue to foster peace within Africa and beyond!
CEDAC Australia is a nongovernmental, nonpartisan and secular organisation. We contribute to peace and capacity development in the Central African region, while helping local diaspora communities at home.
